The art of Kent portrays nude and partially clothed male figure as icons of masculinity and sexuality.  The subjects are voyeurs or exhibitionists or both.  The paintings on exhibit feature pinup works and scenes depicting glimpses of the modern life of gay men including cruising and sexplay  with an emphasis on clothing as fetish.  Business wear, wife beaters and underwear bulges, particularly classic white briefs and boxers, are an ongoing obsession.
Kent's paintings are collected internationally and have appeared in the publications Men, Mandate, Freshmen, Playguy, Torso, Honcho, Unzipped, the Advocate and the novels of Felice Picano and Gordon Merrick.
